Searching in Google is very easy. Just type in whatever comes in your mind about the stuff you want to search and Google will search it for you. But with the internet database increasing at an exponential rate daily, sometimes we get lot of results out of which some of which are not even related. To make a search efficient and time saving I will tell you some basic things about ‘How to search in Google’. According to a survey, 95% of Google users do not have knowledge regarding using Google efficiently. After reading this file, I am sure you can save a lot of your searching time.
a) Search is case insensitive. Therefore, whether you search for computer software or COMPUTER SOFTWARE both will give same result.
b) All the words put for search matters. So pay attention for what word to search. Google generally ignores stop words or fillers like a, an, the, for etc.
c) Google search ignores @#$ %^&*() =+ []\ and other special characters. But they will not be ignored if their use changes the meaning of the whole search like home rent $ 400 and home rent 400.
